The ultimate Walking Tour through Santiago de Chile

Would you like to get to know Santiago in a different and fun way? If so, don't miss the opportunity to participate in one of our walking tours through the capital of Chile. With the help of an expert local guide, you will discover the most interesting and attractive corners of this city full of history, culture and flavor.

Our tour begins at your hotel, where we will pick you up and take you to the Santiago Metro, the fastest and most efficient way to get around the city. There, we will take line 1 to La Moneda station, where we will get off to admire the imposing La Moneda Palace, the seat of the Chilean government and the scene of important historical events.

From there, we will walk along the Alameda, the main avenue of Santiago, until we reach the Plaza de Armas, the heart of the city. There, you will see some of the oldest and most emblematic buildings of Santiago, such as the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Central Post Office, the National Historical Museum and the Cabildo.

We will continue our tour by climbing up Cerro Santa Lucía (except on Mondays when it is closed for maintenance), a green oasis in the middle of the urban center. From its summit, you will have a panoramic view of Santiago and you will be able to appreciate its beauty and diversity. In addition, you will be able to see some of the monuments and fountains that adorn this hill, such as Castillo Hidalgo, Cañón Español and Terraza Neptuno.

Then, we will descend from the hill and head to the bohemian neighborhoods Bellavista and Lastarria, where you will feel the artistic and cultural atmosphere that breathes in their streets. There, you will be able to see some of the most colorful and original houses in Santiago, as well as visit some emblematic places such as Patio Bellavista, Museo de Bellas Artes, Parque Forestal and Casa Museo La Chascona, where the famous poet Pablo Neruda lived.

To end our tour, we will head to Mercado Central, one of the most typical and tasty places in Santiago. There, you will be able to taste some of the most delicious and fresh dishes of Chilean cuisine, especially those that have seafood as their protagonist. If you prefer something different, you can also choose to eat at Galindo restaurant in Bellavista neighborhood, where you can try some Chilean specialties such as empanadas, pastel de choclo or charquicán.

And to refresh ourselves after so much walking and eating, nothing better than trying Mote con Huesillos, a traditional Chilean drink made with cooked wheat and dried peaches in a sweet syrup. You'll love it!

At the end, our guide will take you back to your hotel on the Santiago Metro.

Don't hesitate any more and book your walking tour through Santiago with us. We guarantee you a unique and unforgettable experience. We are waiting for you!
